Wheatstone Bridge is a fundamental electrical circuit used for the precise measurement of resistance. It was invented by Samuel Hunter Christie in 1833 and later popularized by Charles Wheatstone in 1843. It consists of four resistors arranged in a diamond shape, with a voltage source applied across one pair of opposite corners and a galvanometer (a sensitive ammeter) across the other pair.
