This pendulum is used to investigate the relationship between the period of oscillation of a rigid bar pendulum and the distance of its suspension point from its centre of mass .
It comprises a steel rectangular bar 1 meter long, drilled at 50 mm inervals. A removable steel knife edge, mounted perpendicularly, a wall bracket is provided for suspension.
