Developed in the 19th century by the English scientist Thomas Hare, this apparatus was a significant advancement in the study of surface tension, providing a more accurate and efficient method for measuring the force required to break the surface of a liquid.

Product Description

Hares Apparatus Manufacturer, Supplier and Exporter for Physics Lab - This apparatus is used to compare the densities of liquids. It comprises of three limbed glass tube side limbs 45 cms long and rubber tubing on the centre limb closed by mohr clip.
Mounted on wooden stand with a 45 cm long scale on both limbs with zero at bottom. The densities of liquid are compared by measuring heights of the two columns of the liquid by applying suction to centre limb.
